Hike to Mount Sutor

Climb the highest peak in the North McCullough Wilderness. This advanced hike ascends through sandy washes, steep hillsides, and includes rock scrambling to gain 1,300 feet in elevation. Reservations are limited to the first 10 RSVPs.

We're entering a special management area in the McCullough Wilderness, so apologies but no dogs or other domesticated animals are allowed on this excursion.

Length: 7 miles round trip
Difficulty: Strenuous
Hiking Terrain: Sandy wash, elevation gain (upright walking) and rock scrambling.
Recommended Gear: Closed-toe shoes, 2 liters or 64 ounces of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, gloves, snack and a day pack.
