Hike to Petroglyphs - 100 Trail

This is a guided hike led by a volunteer to Sloan Canyon's Petroglyph Area. This hike guide for intermediate-level hikers. We're visiting the Sloan Canyon Petroglyphs via the main canyon route, commonly known as the 100 Trail. This route requires hikers negotiate a few large rock shelves on the way. You must be comfortable lifting yourself up an over these features which are up to 10 feet tall. 

We have 12 spots open, RSVPs are required to participate.

We're entering a special management area in the McCullough Wilderness, so apologies but no dogs or other domesticated animals are allowed on this excursion. 

Length: 4 miles round trip
Difficulty: Moderate
Pets: Sorry, pets are not allowed in the Petroglyph Management Area

Hiking Terrain: Sandy wash, elevation gain (upright walking) through rocky terrain.
Recommended Gear: Closed-toe shoes, 2 liters or 64 ounces of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, gloves, snack and a day pack.
